Have you ever found yourself stuck trying to find that perfect gift for a new baby or young child? Something that isn't mass-produced and impersonal. Something unique and specifically designed for that child.
The creator of
hedgehogz
did.
She wanted a special gift for her 3 year old goddaughter, something that was unique and one she could treasure for years to come. So, after many fruitless shopping trips and wasted hours spent surfing the net, she decided to make the gift herself.
Having always enjoyed making things as a child, she remained creative throughout school choosing Art & Textiles at A Level and specialising in Clothing at University. This naturally progressed to her starting a career within the clothing and textiles industry which she has continued and developed for over 14 years in both the UK and Australia.
Now married, back home and wanting to start a family, but desparately needing a distraction to take her mind off having a baby, she created

was born and, with perfect timing, we were pregnant!

Babywear
hedgehogz
offers a range of babywear from bibs to bodysuits and hats to hooded towels. The clothing is ethically traded and made from certified organic or sustainably sourced cotton.
Great care has been taken to ensure that the embroidery is safe and comfortable for little ones and every garment is fully machine-washable, so they can be worn time and again; beautiful and practical.
The entire collection is made from the same high quality fabrics with Oeko Tex Standard 100 Class 1 certification and nickel-free zippers and poppers for happier, healthier babies.
Our organic range is made from 100% certified organic cotton produced in Tanzania and traded under strict conditions as laid down and monitored by international regulatory bodies. Each garment carries a certificate of authenticity so you can have complete peace of mind of its quality and provenance. Not only do you get a unique gift, but you are also helping local communities in Africa to develop and prosper.
We have now added a 'Signature' collection to our babywear range. This range is also made from ethically traded and sustainably sourced cotton and carries the hedgehogz logo in a more subtle and understated embroidery.

Gifts
Our range of gifts for young children includes aprons, bags, cushions, name & birth details frames, all made from our range of high quality fabrics, embroidered with the design of your choice and finished with the child's name and/or birth details.
Our teddy bears come with pink, blue or natural jumpers and can be embroidered with any design. They are certified as being suitable from birth so you have no worries in giving one to even the youngest of babies.
Our frames are available as either a single or triple panel frame and can be bought as complete frames or with just the insert - ideal if they need to be sent overseas.
